James Woodrow Marksberry

March 27, 1973 - July 10, 2018

Mr. James Woodrow Marksberry of Warsaw, KY. passed away Tuesday, July 10 in Jeffersonville, Indiana at the age of 45.  James was born March 27, 1973 in Carrollton, KY. to the late Robert Kimball Marksberry and Avril Munson Marksberry.  James was a Kentucky Medication Aid for Providence Health Care in Warsaw and a member of the Family Tabernacle Pentecostal Church.  He also on occasion would attend the Community Center Church.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by a sister: Wanda Marksberry and by brothers: Jerry Marksberry and David Marksberry.

James is survived by a son: Zachary Marksberry of Warsaw, KY., by a daughter: Emily Marksberry of Warsaw, KY., a sister: Ruby Poland of Warsaw, KY., brothers: Charles Marksberry of Warsaw, KY., Wayne Marksberry of Owenton, KY., Elmer Marksberry of Warsaw, KY., Franklin Marksberry of Ghent, KY., Larry Marksberry of Warsaw, KY. and Stevie Marksberry of Warsaw, KY.  He is also survived by a great many nieces, nephews and other friends and relatives.

Funeral services for Mr. James Woodrow Marksberry will be conducted 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 18 in the chapel of the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona, with Revs. Steve Coomer and David "Milkweed" Wotier officiating.  Visitation will also be Wednesday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.  Burial will be in the Hance Cemetery, Verona, KY.
