Sadie Sampson

March 23, 1939 - July 11, 2018

Sadie Sampson , 79, of Dry Ridge, KY died Wednesday July 11, 2018 at her residence. Born in Sand Gap, KY on March 23, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Zip and Senie England Parks.

A dedicated mother and mamaw; she loved traveling and especially loved her family and her church. She was retired from Clermont County Convalescent Center in Milford, OH. She was a member of Cornerstone Church of God in Goshen, OH.

Survivors include three daughters: Vicki (Ed) Stubbers, Sheila (Jimmy) Reynolds, both of Ohio and Tonya (Chris) Ellis of Dry Ridge, KY; two sons: James (Billie) Lewis and Bryan (late Debbie) Lewis, both of Ohio and a sister: Fairley Reece of Goshen, OH. Twelve grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Ronald Parks and J. Harold Parks.

Visitation will be Monday July 16, 2018 at Sherman Full Gospel Church (3185 Dixie Hwy. Dry Ridge, KY 41035) from 11:00 -1:00. A celebration of her life will begin at 1:00 with Revs. Melvin R. Garner and Gayliss Gaines officiating. Burial will follow in the Ellis Family Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY.
