Virgie Louise Clark Adams , 92, widow of William Adams, passed away Saturday May 19, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence. Born in Hamilton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Tolbert and Edna Galloway Clark.

On February 27, 1949, she was united in marriage to William Arnold Adams; he preceded her in death on June 1, 2013. She was a member of the Lystra Church of Christ and will long be remembered as a devoted homemaker, along with being a farmer, poet, gardener, church vocalist, a wonderful cook and an avid reader. She also enjoyed playing crossword puzzles and needlepoint. During WW II she made meal kits for the soldiers and held the distinction of having 25 year perfect attendance with the Grant Co. (Mason Chapter) Homemakers Club.

Survivors include two daughters: Elaine Adams from Berea, KY, Pamela Sue Adams of Dry Ridge, KY, one son: Danny Adams of Park Hills, KY, one grandson: Dennis (Michelle) Adams of Dry Ridge; two great-grandchildren: Gabrielle Adams & Corbin Adams and one great-great-grandchild: Kensley Adams. Virgie was preceded in death by a son: Barry Lane Adams, a brother: Carl Clark and a sister: Ruby Clark Adams.

Funeral services will be Thursday May 24, 2018 at 11:30 at Stanley Funeral Homes, Williamstown location; visitation will begin at 10:00 and go until the time of the funeral with Bro. Scotty Simpson officiating.
