Richard Leon Beach

October 18, 1941 - March 3, 2018

Mr. Richard Leon Beach, an Owenton resident, passed away at his residence on Saturday, March 3, 2018. He was the husband of Delories Stamper Beach.

Mr. Beach was a farmer his entire life. He was a KY Colonel, member of the Turkeyfoot Christian Church, and loved spending time with his family and grandkids.

In addition to his wife Delories, Mr. Beach is survived by two sons, Oakley David (Katie) Beach of Georgetown, KY, Daniel Wayne (Re) Beach of Sadieville, KY, two daughters, Phyllis (Wayne) York of Corinth, KY, Anna Fay (Doug) Jones of Owenton, KY, one brother, Ernest Franklin Beach of Verona, KY, four sisters, Brenda (Dale) Stamper of Williamstown, KY, Emma “Boo” (the late Bobby) Straub of Falmouth, KY, Janice Marie (Mike) Pence of Florida,  Pearl Ann Johnson of Falmouth, KY, eleven grandchildren, twenty nine great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.  Mr. Beach was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert Wayne “Bobby” Beach, Blancie May Turner, Lois Carol “Dodie”.

Visitation will be Monday, March 12, 2018 at the Turkeyfoot Christian Church in Sadieville, KY from 12noon to 2pm. Graveside services will be at 2:20pm at the Sadieville Cemetery with Pastor Rodney Courtney officiating.  Memorials are suggested to the McDaniel Funeral Home, 440 Old- Corinth Owenton Rd., Corinth, KY 41010.
