Mamie Noel Holly

Mamie Gertrue Noel Holly of Glencoe, KY was born February 24, 1922 in Gallatin County, KY and died Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in Warsaw, KY at the age of 96.

She was the daughter of the late Lance and Osa Lee Webster Noel, a homemaker, and a member of the Ten Mile Baptist Church. On December 29, 1939 she was united in marriage to her husband George Edward Holly, who preceded her in death in 1976. Also preceding her death was 2 sons, Jimmy and Cecil Holly and 1 sister, Anna Kendall.

Surviving is 1 daughter, Patricia Ann Lillard of Glencoe; 2 sons, Steven Carr Holly of Glencoe and Norman Lee Holly of Florence; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Wilma Young of Warsaw.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona, KY followed by burial in the Napoleon Cemetery. Visitation will 11:00am-2:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
