Cecil Williams

September 8, 1928 - February 27, 2018

Cecil Adams Williams was born Sept. 8, 1928 in Pendleton Co., Kentucky and passed away Feb. 27, 2018 in Erlanger, Kentucky at the age of 89.  She was the daughter of the late William Goble and Vadia Cecil Poore Williams.

Cecil was a retired food service worker for Kenton Co. Public Schools as well as Covington City Schools.  She was also a former telephone operator for Cincinnati Bell.  Cecil was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church and a member of CWA where she served as a hometeam captain since 1983.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Thomas Arnold Williams on Oct. 8, 2008.  In addition she was preceded in death by a daughter: Deborah Jo Cummins; a brother: Harold Adams; and 3 sisters: Geneva Kells, Dorothy Justice and Mildred Courtney.

She is survived by a son: Brian Thomas Williams of Hebron; a daughter: Patricia L. Paige of Florence; a brother: Clarence L. Adams of Morgan; a sister: Ruth West of Williamstown; 2 stepsons: Byron T. Williams of San Antonio, TX and Jeffrey Williams of California; 3 stepdaughters: Brenda Beres of Oregon, Ruth Ann Williams of Independence and Amy Jo Burch of Louisville; and 21 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown.  Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Saturday.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Williamstown.
