Donald Ray Conner

December 8, 1939 - February 22, 2018

Donald Ray Conner was born December 8, 1939 and passed away February 22, 2018 in Warsaw, Kentucky at the age of 78.  He was the son of the late Bertha Mae and Randolph Stewart Conner.

Donald was a retired tool & die maker for Kratz Wilde.  He was a veteran of the United States Army where he was a Paratrooper in the 101st Airbourne Division.

He was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor Jeanette "Jean" Leffler Conner.  In addition to his wife, Donald was preceded in death by 2 brothers: James David Conner and Roy Lee Conner; and a sister: Wanda Mae Conner.

Donald is survived by his daughter: Donna Gross and her husband Joel of Verona; a brother: Randy Blaine Conner and his wife Lynne of Crittenden; and a granddaughter: Lindsey Nicole Smith of Florence.

Donald will leave his legacy for being known as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Funeral services will be 12:30 PM, Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona.  Visitation will be 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial with military honors will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill.
