Stewart Nunnelley of Crittenden, KY was born January 14, 1949 in Cincinnati, OH and died Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at his residence at the age of 69.
He was the son of the late Donald and Juanita Moore Nunnelley, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, a retired truck driver, and a member of the Corinth Baptist Church. In addition, he had several hobbies and loves in his life, he was the founder and president of the Country Cruisers Car Club, loved UK Basketball, music, history, auto racing, and street rods. His love of baseball and basketball started when he played in school and continued into his adult life playing various sports, On June 24, 1972 he was united in marriage to his wife, Deloris Faye Breeding Nunnelley.
In addition to his wife Faye, also surviving is 1 son, Jason (Cindy) Nunnelley of Independence; 1 daughter, Kara Nicole Nunnelley of Crittenden; 1 grandson, Jacob Nunnelley of Independence; 1 brother, Steve Nunnelley of Owenton; brother-in-law, Delbert Breeding of Carleton, MI; aunts, Reba Stakelin and Lynn Carol McKinney both of Georgetown; uncle, Howard Covington of Georgetown; nieces, Dana Brockman of Independence and Melinda Breeding of Monroe, MI; nephews, Derek Nunnelley of Owenton and Dalton Breeding of Monroe, MI; and dear friends, Tom, Karen and Travis Caldwell of Florence and Anthony Motley of Corinth.
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KY with burial to follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North. Visitation will be 11:00am-1:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
