Roger Gary Rhodus, Sr.

May 3, 1943 - February 18, 2018

Mr. Roger Rhodus, Sr., a Burlington resident, passed away at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the age of 74. Mr. Rhodus was preceded in death by his wife, Myra Fisher Rhodus.

Mr. Rhodus was retired from Ford Automotive as an assembler on the transmission line.  Roger loved to hot rod cars and trucks.  He was a KY Colonel, and a former coach of baseball, football, basketball and loved all sports.  He had a passion for working on classic trucks and loved to spend time with his children.

Mr. Rhodus is survived by two sons, Roger Rhodus, Jr. of Burlington, KY, Brian Rhodus of Colerain, OH, one daughter, Myra Rhodus (Jeff) of Ohio, a brother, Charles Rhodus of Burlington, KY, two sisters, June M. Ginn of Juno Isles, FL, Billie Jo Chapin of Florence, KY, and one granddaughter, McKenna Rhodus.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 12:30-1pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.  Graveside service with military honors will be at the KY Veteran's Cemetery, North in Williamstown at 1pm Wednesday.  Memorials are suggested to the KY Veteran's Cemetery Memorial Wreath Program.
