Carol Jean O'Banion Rogers

Carol Jean O’Banion Rogers of Williamstown, KY was born August 3, 1943 in Grant County, KY and died Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Knight’s Personal Care in Williamstown at the age of 74.

Carol was the daughter of the late Howard “Piddle” O’Banion and Mildred Imogene Toole O’Banion. She was a former Cincinnati Bell Operator, book keeper for Piles Chevrolet, and a member of the Dry Ridge Baptist Church. Carol enjoyed sewing, making beautiful quilts, dolls, and other crafts for family and friends. On June 28, 1963 she was united in marriage to her husband, Alton Ray Rogers who preceded her in death in 1992.

Carol is survived by 1 son, Brian Scott (Kim Barry) Rogers of Portland, OR; 1 daughter, Wray Jean (Mark) Jump of Williamstown; 3 grandchildren, Jacob, Sidney, and Brooklynn Jump all of Williamstown; her mother, Imogene O’Banion of Williamstown and formerly of Dry Ridge; 2 sisters, Diane (Eddie) West of Williamstown and Robin Kay (Gary) Mullikin of Greenwood, IN; and 1 brother, Howard Wayne O’Banion of Batavia, OH.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00pm Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KY followed by burial in the Williamstown Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00noon -2:00pm Saturday at the funeral home.
