Shelby Jean White

June 13, 1937 - February 1, 2018

Shelby White, an Elsmere resident, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the age of 80.

Shelby was a former inspector and supervisor for the Gibson Arts Greeting Card company. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.  She had a passion for dogs, cats and all animals.

Shelby was born on June 13, 1937 in Verona, KY to the late Albert White and Laura Napier Beil. She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles William White. She is survived by two brothers, Edward White, Larry White (Diana) of Taylor Mill, KY, two sisters, Rose Marie McCreary (Patrick) of Edmonton, KY, Elizabeth Steele of New Smyrna Beach, FL, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 11am-1pm at the Hamilton – Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, KY. Funeral will be at 1pm. Burial will follow in the New Bethel cemetery.
