Joyce Fay Clifford

Joyce Fay Clifford , 71 of Williamstown, passed away Tuesday January 23, 2018 at St. Elizabeth – Florence. Born April 27, 1946 in Hamilton, OH, she was the daughter of the late William and Beatrice Proffitt Bates.

Joyce was married on June 22, 1993 to Mike Clifford; he survives. Additional survivors include two sons: Billy Ray Mize of Falmouth, Glenn Dale Isom of Louisville, KY, formerly of Grant County; two daughters: Rose “Chrissy” Williams of Verona, KY, Iva Lee Kleine; two brothers: William Earl Bates of Independence, KY, Gary Bates of Northern KY and one sister: Starletta Ryan of Independence, KY. She was preceded in death by a sister, Verna May Curry of London, KY. Ten grandchildren also survive: Billy Mize, Jr., Andy Mize, Lloyd Mize, Shade Isom, Shane isom, Destiny Isom, Hailey Isom, Felicity Spicer, J.W. “Lee” Goeler and Josiah Kleine, along with 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted Sunday January 28, 2018 at Dry Ridge Christian Church at 2:00. Visitation will begin at 1:00 with Rev. Chuck Walters officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home for the funeral expenses.
