Hazel Jones Jenkins

Hazel Ernestine Jones Jenkins of Corinth, KY was born February 11, 1930 in Scott County, KY and died Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Grant Center in Williamstown, KY at the age of 87.

She was the daughter of the late Jesse Malcomb and Sallie Bell Wright Jones, a homemaker, and a member of the Stonewall 1st Church of God in Sadieville, KY. On March 3, 1950 she was united in marriage to her husband James Edgar Jenkins who preceded her in death on June 20, 2008.

Surviving is 2 daughters, Marlene Hafley (Floyd T.) of Stamping Ground, KY and Regina Rogers (Johnny) of Corinth, KY; 3 grandchildren, Beth Soard, Johnathan Rogers, and Ciara Mears; and 2 great-grandchildren, Brennan Thornton and Claire Soard.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Stonewall 1st Church of God in Sadieville, KY with burial to follow in the Corinth Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00pm Sunday January 28, 2018 at the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth, KY, and 10:00-11:00am Monday, January 29 at the church.
