John Wesley Combs

June 22, 1929 - January 23, 2018

John Wesley Combs was born June 22, 1929 in Williamstown, Kentucky and passed away January 23, 2018 in Corinth, Kentucky at the age of 88.  He was the son of the late Louis and Betty Dean Billiter Henry.

John was a retired carpet installer for Tim Hogan's.  He loved spending time shooting pool and fishing.

John was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Maxine Combs in 2008. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: Went Combs and Charles Combs; and 3 sisters: Mary Carr, Martha Smith and Margaret Wells.

He is survived by 2 sons: Don Combs (Sandra) of Corinth and Tommy Wesley Combs (Debra Willoughby) of Dry Ridge; 2 daughters: Margaret Combs Beach (Robert) of Richwood and Tina Combs Murrel (Jason) of Ft. Thomas; a brother: Donald Combs of Williamstown; and six grandchildren: Daniel Scroggins, Paul Wayne Steward, Justin Steward, Mindy Combs Shaffer, Tracy Crabtree and Angel Slavey.

Funeral services will 12:00 PM, Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown.  Visitation will be 10 AM - 12 PM, Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018.  Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery.
