Evelyn Prince

January 20, 1930 - December 23, 2017

Evelyn Adkins Prince was born Jan. 20, 1930 in Huntsville, TN and passed away December 23, 2017 in West Chester, OH at the age of 87.  She was the daughter of the late S.A. and Betty Baird Adkins.

Evelyn was united in marriage in August 1951 to Otis Franklin Prince who preceded her in death June 27, 2008.

Evelyn was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church and a former member of the Straight Fork Baptist Church.

She is survived by 2 sons: Roy Ewell (Vicki) Prince of Maineville, OH and Ray Jeffery Prince of East Lake, OH; a daughter: Debra Ann Prince of Hendersonville, NC; 3 grandchildren: Brian Prince, Graylin Prince and Mary Mitchell; and a great granddaughter: Arabella Prince.

In addition to her husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by 6 brothers: Jess Adkins, Ranzo Adkins, Orden Adkins, Alonzo Adkins, Elmer Adkins and Billy Adkins; and 3 sisters: Emily Adkins, Montie Duncan and Dorthy Barrett.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017 at McDaniel Funeral Home, 440 Old-Corinth Owenton Rd., Corinth, KY  41010.  Visitation will be 1:00-3:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to the Hospice of the Bluegrass.
