Robert Mark Dougherty

January 16, 1956 - December 14, 2017

Mr. Robert Mark Dougherty of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Thursday, December 14 at home at the age of 61.  Mr. Dougherty was born January 16, 1956 in Iowa to the late John and Darlene Donaghy Dougherty.  Mr. Dougherty was a self employed contractor and formerly had worked for Tractor Supply Co.  Mr. Dougherty enjoyed fishing, working with his tractor and most of all enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.  Mr. Dougherty was a member of the Sons of American Legion at Post 234 in Scottsburg, Indiana.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Dougherty was preceded in death by a brother: Richard Lee Dougherty and by a sister: Kathleen Marie Dougherty.

Mr. Dougherty is survived by his wife: Sharon Barnett Dougherty, a son: Kevin Dougherty of Ohio, a daughter: Amber Tucker of Ohio, 2 stepsons: Billy Putthoff and Jody Roaden both of Dry Ridge, KY., daughters-in-law: Patricia Vickers of Dry Ridge, KY. and Nina Roaden of Dry Ridge, KY.  He also had 9 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 8:00 pm Tuesday, January 16 at the Spears Foundation Building on Main Street in Dry Ridge with Rev. Lynn White officiating.  There will be visitation prior to the service from 5:00 - 8:00 pm also at the Spears Building.

The Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home of Dry Ridge, KY. has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mr. Robert Mark Dougherty.
