Edwina Dean Robinson

August 20, 1931 - December 12, 2017

Mrs. Edwina Dean Lloyd Robinson of Florence, KY. passed away Tuesday, December 12 at home at the age of 86.  Mrs. Robinson was born August 20, 1931 in Cincinnati, Oh. to the late John Edward Lloyd and Alvina Frederick Lloyd.  Mrs. Robinson was a retired seamstress for Tally Tailors in Cincinnati and a member of the Hickory Grove Baptist Church.  Mrs. Robinson was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and she enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, reading, quilting and crocheting.  She especially loved to travel and had traveled throughout a large portion of the western United States as well as some of Canada.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Robinson in 1987.  She was also preceded in death by 2 grand daughters: Wendy Robinson and Nadean Blair.

Mrs. Robinson is survived by a son: Dennis Robinson and his wife Patricia of Memphis, TN., 2 daughters: Debra Blair and her husband Samuel of Independence, KY. and Darla Medile and her husband Joseph of Walls, MS.  Mrs. Robinson has 3 grandchildren: Jason Robinson and his wife Donna, Mariah Medile and Jeremy Medile.  She has 2 great grandchildren: Ragan Robinson and Chandler Robinson.

Funeral services for Mrs. Edwina Dean Lloyd Robinson will be conducted 12:00 noon Monday, December 18 in the chapel of the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KY. with Rev. David Wotier officiating.  Visitation will also be on Monday from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon.  Burial will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, KY.
