Betty Whitaker

Mrs. Betty Kennedy Whitaker, a Walton resident, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the age of 77. She was the widow of Norman Whitaker.

Mrs. Whitaker was a homemaker, farmer, and former employee of Holiday Inn and Big Bone Park. She is a member of the English Christian Church and loves gardening, the outdoors and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Whitaker was preceded in death by her late husband Norman Whitaker and son, Ricky Miller. She is survived by one son, Bobby Miller (Lisa) of Walton, KY, one step-son Glenn Whitaker of Owenton, KY, and one grandson, Tyler of Walton, KY.

Visitation will be Monday, December 4, 2017 from 11am-1pm at the Hamilton – Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, KY. Funeral services will be at 1pm. Burial will follow at the Beaverlick Christian Church. Memorials are suggested to the Beaverlick cemetery.
