Barbara Ann Smith Gordon

Barbara Ann Smith Gordon, 79 of Burlington, KY passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at her home in Largo, FL. She was born to the Late Mary Magdalene Nienaber Smith and Raymond Francis Smith in Covington, KY, the 7th child in a family of 11.

Barbara retired from Fifth Third Bank in Florence, KY and enjoyed retirement life in both Florida and Kentucky for over 20 years. She also loved playing cards and spending time with family and friends. She was a devoted member of First Church of Christ in Burlington, KY and really enjoyed the old gospel hymns sang at the Sunday night service.

She was a loving mother of 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Clarence Gordon; children, Garry (Ronda) Gordon, Debbie Gordon, Diane (Tom) Helmers, and Donna Hauser; and siblings Thomas Smith, Lottie Cain, Mary Barker, and Fred Smith. She was preceded in death by siblings, Melvin Smith, Jerry Smith, Beatrice Reed, Frank Smith, Regina Smith, and Elwood Smith.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, followed by burial in the Williamstown Cemetery. Visitation will also be Tuesday, 11:00am-2:00pm at the funeral home.
