Betty Sue Dunn

September 2, 1951 - August 16, 2017

Betty Dunn, 65, a resident of Owenton, passed away Wednesday morning August 16, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. Born in Toledo, Ohio on September 2, 1951, she was the daughter of the late John and Maxine Cameron Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Remnant Baptist Church in Owenton, KY.

Survivors include two daughters, Sonia (James) Wright of Corinth and Jennifer (Donnie) Carmack of Owenton; one son, David (Tasha) Dunn of Owenton, KY;  one brother, John (Kandi) Johnson of Brazil, IN; six sisters, Henrietta, Regina, Beverly, Belinda, Debbie and Della. Thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Dora.

Visitation will be Monday August 21, 2017 at Remnant Baptist Church, located at 120 Clay Lick Road, Owenton, KY  40359  from 11:00 – 1:00. Funeral services will follow at 1:00, with Rev. Darren Wolford officiating. Burial will be in the Remnant Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stanley Funeral Homes, P.O. Box 130, Williamstown, KY 41097 to be used toward the expenses of the funeral.
