Wayne Harris Douglas

Wayne Harris Douglas of Crittenden, KY was born October 4, 1934 in Cynthiana, KY and died Tuesday, August 15, 2017 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 82.

He was the son of the late Owen and Ruth Cochran Douglas, a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, Graduate of the Purdue University and University of Cincinnati, he retired as President of the Southern Ohio Bank in Cincinnati, OH, and owner/operator of the Eagle Valley Resort in Sanders, KY. On May 5, 1957 he was united in marriage to his wife Sally Ann Tomlin Douglas, and in 2004 he was preceded in death by his son, Mark Wayne Douglas.

Surviving is his wife, Sally Ann Douglas of Crittenden; 1 daughter, Susan A. (Jesse) Powers of Union; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, Norman Ray Douglas of FL.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden followed by burial in the Rising Sun Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00am-1:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
