Robert Edward McCubbin

September 17, 1933 - August 14, 2017

Mr. Robert "Bob" McCubbin passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 at his residence at the age of 83.  He was preceded in death by his wife of more than 62 years, Bonnie Beach McCubbin.

Mr. McCubbin was retired after 32 years from GM Automotive as a Quality Control Paint Inspector.  He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending as much time with his grandchildren as possible.

He is survived by one son, Robert E. McCubbin, II, (Lois) of Independence, KY, five daughters, Robin "Poo" Kahrs (Chuck) of Independence, Susie Webster (Kenney) of Independence, Lona Murphy of Independence, Donna Sebastian of Crittenden, KY, Nola Bishop (James) of Defuniak Springs, FL, one brother in law, Bob Beach of Dry Ridge, fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 11am-2pm at the Hamilton Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, KY.  Funeral services will follow at 2pm.  Burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery in Verona, KY.  Memorials are suggested to the St. Elizabeth Hospice.
