Gordon William Henry, Jr. of Walton KY was born October 31, 1952 in Highland Heights, KY and died Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in Florence, KY at the age of 64.

He was the son of the late Gordon Sr. and Shirley Cecilia Parks Henry, a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp, and a general contractor and roofer. He was a member of the Good Guys Club and enjoyed fishing, time with his family, and planting flowers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 sister, Judy Noble. On December 10, 1972 he was united in marriage to his wife Margie Aldridge Henry.

In addition to his wife Margie, also surviving is 3 sons, Bill (Debbie) Barrett of Crittenden, Gordon William (Ruth) Henry III of Walton, and Chris (Nicki) Henry of Verona; 1 daughter Feleena (Chris) Shinkle of Dry Ridge; 5 grandchildren,Tassie (Todd), David (Keleah), Haley, Samera, and Harley; 2 great-grandchildren, Leon and Harmony; 4 brothers, Johnny Henry of Youngstown, OH, Glenn Henry of Memphis, IN, Jeff Henry of St. Leon, IN, and Pat Henry of Lexington, KY; and 2 sisters Cindy Jackson of Florence, KY and Annie Clay of Allendale, IL.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona, KY with burial to follow in the New Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00am-2:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
