Virginia Rose Hamon

April 18, 1929 - August 8, 2017

Mrs. Rose Hamon, a Florence resident and formerly of Berry, KY, passed away at the Florence Park Care Center in Florence, KY on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017 at the age of 88.

Mrs. Hamon was a homemaker, a member of the Florence Church of Christ, she loved gardening, canning, reading novels, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Hamon is survived by her husband Robert Hamon, Jr. of Berry, KY, two sons, Fred Hamon of Edgewood, KY, Michael Hamon of Ft. Wright, KY, three daughters, Joyce Brewer of Florence, KY, Susan Bowling (James) of Burlington, KY, Amy Lambert (Bill) of Burlington, KY, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, August 14, 1017 from 10am-12pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.  Funeral services will follow at 12pm.  Burial will be in the KY Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY.  Memorials are suggested to the KY Veterans Memorial Wreath Fund.
