Judy Ann Looney

March 29, 1950 - July 31, 2017

Mrs. Judy Ann Looney of Mt. Sterling, KY. passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. at the age of 67.  Mrs. Looney was born March 29, 1950 in Whitesburg, KY. to the late Willard Short and Mary Webb Short.  Mrs. Looney worked for many years as an LPN at the Grant Manor Nursing Home in Williamstown, KY. as well as the Woodspoint Nursing Home in Florence, KY.  Mrs. Looney enjoyed gardening, fishing and she had a passion for quilting.  Mrs. Looney will be remembered most for her love and dedication to her children, grandchildren and her 10 month old great grandchild.

Mrs. Looney is survived by her husband: Homer Looney, a daughter: Tracey Sergent and her husband Gregory of Williamstown, KY., a son: Brandon Mullins of Dry Ridge, KY., 2 step-daughters: Leanna Jamison and her husband Mike of Richlands, VA., Raegena Turner of Clintwood, VA., a sister: Belvia Collins and her husband Larry of Mayking, KY., 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Funeral services for Mrs. Judy Ann Looney will be conducted 8:00 pm Thursday, August 3 in the chapel of the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main Street, Williamstown, KY. 41097 with Bro. Jarrod Hylton officiating.  Visitation will be there on Thursday, August 3 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.  Burial will be 1:00 pm Friday at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY.
