Shirley Davis

October 11, 1941 - July 29, 2017

Shirley Ann Crook Davis was born Oct. 11, 1941 in London, Kentucky and passed away July 29, 2017 St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 75.  She was the daughter of the late Eldred and Lucy Stillings Crook.

On July 16, 1960, Shirley was united in marriage to George Ronald Davis. In addition to her husband of 57 years, Shirley is survived by 2 sons: Wayne Davis (Jenny) of Dry Ridge and William Edward Davis of Punta Gorda, FL; a daughter: Lucy Davis of Dry Ridge; 4 grandchildren: Stephanie Davis Kopocs (Barrett), Bud Davis, Michaela Davis and Maddy Davis; and 2 great grandchildren: Hudson and Haydyn Kopocs.

She was preceded in death by a son: Michael Davis and a sister: Carol Kiser.

Shirley was a retired Executive Administrative Assistant and member of the New York Stock Exchange.  She was also a  member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Walton, KY as well as in Deep Creek, FL.

A memorial visitation will be held 12 - 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Taylor Mill..  Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 19, 2017.
