Doris Jean Parker, 55, wife of Albert "Lee" Parker passed away Friday June 16, 2017 at St Elizabeth Medical Center - Florence. Born in Owen County, KY, she was the daughter of Aaron Dyer and the late Mildred Mae (Perkins) Dyer.
A retired cook for over 20 years with Noble Truck Stop in Corinth; she enjoyed quilting, crocheting, crafts and especially cooking. She was a member of the Church of God.
In addition to her husband of almost 35 years, she is survived by her father, Aaron Dyer of Corinth; her daughter, Melinda (Kevin) Beach of Corinth, KY; her sister, Ann (Larry) Hawkins of Owenton, KY; her brother, Greg Dyer of Corinth, KY; a step-son, Scotty Parker and step-daughter, Angela Lee Parker White. Three grandchildren, Cody, Tyler and Blake Beach also survive. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Lois and the twin brother of Greg, Craig Dyer.
Visitation will be Tuesday June 20, 2017 from 11:00 - 2:00 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Homes - Williamstown. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 with Rev. Matt Dye officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Dry Ridge. Memorials may take the form of contributions to the family toward the funeral expenses in care of Stanley Funeral Homes P. O.
