James Melvin Wren

May 16, 1964 - May 31, 2017

Mr. James Melvin Wren, of Warsaw, KY. passed away Wednesday, May 31 at his home at the age of 53.  Jim was born May 16, 1964 in Covington, KY. to Janice Smith Wren and the late James Dale Wren.  Jim was a truck driver for Transport Service in Carrollton, KY. and a member of the Paint Lick Baptist Church.  Jim loved anything to do with trucks and he was very talented, able to build anything.

Jim was preceded in death by his father, James Dale Wren on June 22, 2010.

Jim is survived by his wife: Kim Rider Wren, a son: Jordan Tyler Wren of Warsaw, KY., a daughter: Melanie Rebecca Wren of Warsaw, KY., his mother: Janice Wren of Warsaw, KY., a sister: Karen Gross of Glencoe, KY., 2 brothers: Mark A. Wren of Denver, CO. and Christopher F. Wren of Union, KY.

Funeral services for James Melvin Wren will be 2:00 pm Sunday, June 4 in the chapel of the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 132 South Main Street, Crittenden, KY. 41030.  Visitation will be there on Sunday from 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm.  Burial will be in the Napoleon Cemetery, Gallatin County.
