Freddie Epperson

October 29, 1942 - May 31, 2017

Hade Frederick "Freddie" Epperson was born October 29, 1942 in Williamstown, Kentucky and passed away May 31, 2017 at his residence in Williamstown at the age of 74.  He was the son of the late Raleigh Hade Epperson and Eva Mae Goerler Perry.

Freddie was former owner of Epperson Waste in Williamstown and was a machine operator for Republic Services.  He was a graduate of Grant County High School and a member of the United States Army Reserves.

On July 17, 1998 he was united in marriage to Melinda Sue Caldwell Epperson.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons: Jeffery Epperson of Dry Ridge and Daniel Epperson of Williamstown; a daughter: Melanie Epperson of Dry Ridge; 3 stepsons: Jonathan Spegal of Piner, Jason Spegal of Cumberland and Jeremy Spegal of Warsaw; a stepdaughter: Katie Plunkett of Crittenden; 2 sisters: Rita Beagle of Williamstown and Brenda Crooker of Lexington; and 19 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 12:30 PM Monday, June 5, 2017 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown.  Visitation will be 4-8 PM Sunday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home.
