Louise Vannarsdall

February 10, 1924 - May 3, 2017

Louise Caldwell Vannarsdall was born Feb. 10, 1924 in Golds Valley, Kentucky and passed away May 3, 2017 in Dry Ridge, Kentucky at the age of 93.  She was the daughter of the late Kirtley and Eliza Jane "Crickett" Scroggins Caldwell.

On Feb. 26, 1951, Louise was united in marriage to Carey Vannarsdall who preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers: Leonard, Denver and Walter Caldwell and a sister: Christine Kinman.

Louise is survived by 3 sons: Lloyd Vannarsdall (Lana) of Owenton, Daryl Vannarsdall (Debbie) of Dry Ridge and Wendell Vannarsdall of Dry Ridge; a brother: Lester Caldwell of Florence; 3 sisters: Caroleen Kinman of Florence, Elinora Howe of Dry Ridge and Patsy Adkins of Dry Ridge; 4 grandchildren: Lindsay Vannarsdall of Vermont, Michael Vannarsdall of San Francisco, CA, Tameca Switzer of Corinth and Colt Vannarsdall of Erlanger; and 6 great grandchildren: Laila Hamed of Vermont, Trezdon Switzer of Corinth, Zayden Switzer of Corinth, Rylan Switzer of Corinth, Bentley Vannarsdall of Erlanger and Eli Vannarsdall of Erlanger.

She was a homemaker and a dedicated, lifelong member of Concord Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, WMU Director and many other capacities.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 6 at Concord Baptist Church in Dry Ridge.  Visitation will be 4-8 PM Friday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown and from 10:00 AM until time of service on Saturday at the church.  Burial will be in the Jonesville Cemetery.
