Marteal Martin

February 4, 1948 - April 11, 2017

Marteal Sims Martin was born February 4, 1948 in Knox Co., Kentucky and passed away April 11, 2017 in Williamstown, Kentucky at the age of 69.  She was the daughter of the late Alvin and Liz Bull Sims.

Marteal was a time keeper for the Internal Revenue Service in Covington.

She is survived by her husband of 50+ years, Thomas Lee Martin.  In addition she is survived by a son: Dwayne Martin of Covington; five brothers: Alex Sims of Warren Camp, Beechie Sims of Warren Camp, Delbert Sims of Amelia, OH, Terry Sims of Amelia, OH and Ronnie Sims of Warren Camp; a sister: Priscilla Grabow of Florence; and 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Marteal was preceded in death by a brother, Denny Sims, and a sister, Dell Petrey.

A memorial visitation will be 12:00 - 2:00 PM Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home.
