Daniel Lee Mitchell

Daniel Lee Mitchell, 68, husband of Sherry Schenk, passed away Thursday April 6, 2017 at St. Elizabeth - Fort Thomas. He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on March 24, 1949 to the late Wayne and Nina Lucille Mitchell. He was a resident of Williamstown, a factory worker and was of the Christian faith.

Dan was married on August 20, 1989 to Sherry Koorsen Schenk; she survives. In addition to his wife survivors include, a daughter: Jodie (Kelly) Jones of Ft. Wayne, IN, sons: Jeff (Mindy) Mitchell & Darin Mitchell, both of Ft. Wayne; sons: Michael Horowitz, Kenneth Robert Barry, both of Ft. Wayne, Robert Dean Schenk and Steven (Christie) Schenk, both of Fairfield, OH, John Benjamin (Lorenzo) Schenk of Washington, D.C., daughters: Michelle (Tony) Schenk of Faifield, OH and Constance Suzanne (Curt) Peterson of Peru, IN; one sister: Merlyn Brincefield of Bristol, IN. Several grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive.

A memorial service will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
