Mollie Marie Davis

January 1, 1949 - March 31, 2017

Mollie Marie Haynes Davis was born Jan. 1, 1949 in Kodak, Kentucky and passed away March 31, 2017 in Georgetown, Kentucky at the age of 68.  She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Susie Fugate Haynes.

On June 11, 1966 Mollie was united in marriage to James Edward "Jed" Davis.  In addition to her husband of 50+ years, Mollie is survived by 2 daughters: Jamie Fuller of Georgetown and Michelle (Dennis) Frommeyer of Georgetown; 3 brothers: James Haynes of Cornettsville, Michael Haynes of Letcher and Tounsel Haynes of Carcassone; a sister: JoAnn Shepherd of Isom; 5 grandchildren: Caitlin Whitehead of Georgetown, Briana Frommeyer of Georgetown, Michael Coffman of Stamping Ground, Landon Woolums of Stamping Ground and Dawson Woolums of Stamping Ground; and 1 Great Grandson: Carter Whitehead.

Mollie was a member of New Columbus Baptist Church.  She was also a member of Owen Co. Homemakers and volunteered with Living Hands Ministry as well as many other community outreaches.  She loved crocheting.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, April 4 at New Columbus Baptist Church.  Visitation will be 5:00-9:00 PM, Monday, April 3 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Corinth.  Burial will be in the New Columbus Cemetery.
