Edith Marie Hornsby

April 9, 1948 - March 13, 2017

Edith Wilson Hornsby, A Dry Ridge resident, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Williamstown, KY on Monday, March 13, 2017 at the age of 68.

Mrs. Hornsby was a former Certified Nursing Assistant in Florida.  She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Lakeland, FL. She loved to spend her time with her grandkids and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Mrs. Hornsby was born to the late Robert Wilson, Sr. and Hazel Marie Sexton Weil on April 9, 1948.  Later in life she was united in marriage to the now late Gerald "Jerry" Hornsby.  From this union, they are survived by one son, Jerry Hornsby of Crittenden, KY, four daughters, Carrie (Russell) Webster of Walton, KY, Robin (Mark) Thomas of Dry Ridge, KY, Sharon (Chuck) Hauge of Dry Ridge, KY, Candy Hornsby of Corinth, KY, one sister, Norma McIntosh of Ft. Wright, KY, eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by daughter Nancy Hornsby, brothers Robert "Bobby" Wilson, Jr., John Sexton, Wayne Wilson, and sister Hariet Sue Price.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 11am-1pm a the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Crittenden, KY.  Funeral services will be at 1pm at Crittenden.  Burial will follow in the Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY.  Memorials are suggested to the Grace Worship Center, 649 Sunway Lane, Winterhaven, FL 33880.
