James "Doug" "Hippy" Neace

August 8, 1955 - March 11, 2017

James “Doug” “Hippy” Neace of Corinth, KY was born August 8, 1955 in Dayton, KY and died Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 61.

He was the son of the late Roy and Marie Cox Neace, and a retired machinist for Rotek Inc. in Florence, KY. In addition to his parents, 1 sister, Cindy Neace and 1 brother, Larry Neace preceded him in death. On February 28, 1975 he was united in marriage to his wife Edith Stacy Neace.

In addition to his wife Edith, also surviving is 1 son, Brandon Neace of Corinth; 1 daughter, Christina (Nate) Preston; 3 grandchildren, Morgan Neace-Preston of Warsaw, Johnathan and Ryan Preston, both of Owenton; 3 brothers, Roy Neace of Park Hills, Mike (Cindy) Whalen of Covington, and Mark (Misty) Whalen of Covington; and 3 sisters, Gina (Jeff) Beach of Taylor Mill, Tammy Griffith of Covington, and Lisa Spencer of Park Hills.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown followed by burial in the Williamstown Cemetery, Visitation will also be Thursday 11:00am-2:00pm at the funeral home.
