Juanita O'Banion Hammond

April 15, 1944 - January 21, 2017

Mrs. Juanita O'Banion Hammond of Sanders, KY. and formerly of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Saturday, January 21 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. at the age of 72.  Mrs. Hammond was born April 15, 1944 in Owen County, KY. to the late Ray C. and Annie C. Parker O'Banion.  Mrs. Hammond was a former employee for Sun Manufacturing and a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church.  She will be fondly remembered by her family for her love and devotion to her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Hammond is survived by 2 sons: Bubby Hammond of Dry Ridge, KY., Thomas Ray Hammond of Sparta, KY., 4 daughters: Bernadine Pickett of Williamstown, KY., Nita Marie Renfro of Dry Ridge, KY., Sheila Baker of Alexandria, KY., Rita Roberts of Sanders, KY., 1 brother: Ray C. O'Banion of Mason, OH., 1 sister: Nora Alice McMurray of Columbus, OH. and she has 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita O'Banion Hammond will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, January 25 in the chapel of the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, with Rev. David Wotier officiating.  Visitation will be there on Tuesday from 5:00 - 9:00 pm.  Burial will be in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY.
