Judith Allen Sullivan Bandaries

June 7, 1942 - August 6, 2016

Judith Allen Sullivan Bandaries, a New Orleans, LA resident, passed away after a long illness on August 6, 2016 at St. Francis Villa in River Ridge, Louisiana at the age of 74. She was born in Danville, Kentucky on June 7, 1942, the middle daughter of three girls and one son born to Roy Lee Allen and the former Sarah "Libby" Breedlove of Madisonville, KY. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Ann Armstrong.

Judith graduated from Madisonville High School in 1960 and went on to excel at Georgetown College where she graduated in 1964. Judith was last employed as a realtor in New Orleans.

She is survived by her husband, Nathen Bandaries, New Orleans, LA, two children, Robin Sullivan Pratt, wife of Phillip Pratt of Newton, MA and John Sullivan of Charleston, SC, as well as two step-children, Nate Bandaries of Centennial, CO and Dr. Laura Alexander of Yuma, AZ. Additionally, she is survived by her younger sister, Susan Wise of Middletown, OH and younger brother, Tandy Allen of La Grange, KY.

Judith was very proud of her four grandchildren, Andrew, Caroline, and the twins, Nicholas and William Pratt, also of Newton, MA.

Judith''s memorial service will be in Madisonville, KY on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Madisonville. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM followed by the memorial service at 11:00 AM and interment at the Madisonville Odd Fellows'' Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the National Ataxia Foundation, 2600 Fernbrook Ln. N, Plymouth, MN 55447 in Judith''s name.
