Thelma Joan Robinson

August 31, 1955 - May 7, 2015

Thelma Joan "Joanie" Harrison Robinson was born Aug. 31, 1955 in Meade Co., Kentucky and passed away May 7, 2015 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 59. She was the daughter of the late Ellis Glen and Viola Kendall Harrison.

Joanie was a Restaurant Manager and a crafter. She also loved gardening, flowers, and animals of all kinds. At the time of her passing, Joanie remained a member of the Sherman Full Gospel Assembly Church of God.

On Sept. 15, 1984, Joanie was united in marriage to Glenn V. Robinson. In addition to her husband of 30 years, she is survived by a son: Michael Robinson (Deborah) of Burlington; three daughters: Kimberly Davis (Alfred) of Richfield, OH, Judy Fee (Frank) of Florence and Jessica Hill (Steve) of Burlington; 5 sisters: Della Ramsey of Brandenburg, Jeanie Fornash of Brandenburg, Betty Jarboe of Hardensburg, Sue Newbery of Lafayette, TN and Maye White of Corbin; and 8 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Joanie was preceded in death by a sister, Lou Fox.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, May 11, 2015 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown with Rev. Gayliss Gaines officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday, May 10 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Williamstown Cemetery.
