Arthur Marshall Connelly

February 11, 1937 - May 2, 2015

Arthur Marshall Connelly of Crittenden was born February 11, 1937 in Kenton County, Kentucky and died at his residence Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the age of 78.

He was the son of the late Eddie and Gertrude Viola Ashcraft Connelly, a retired concrete construction worker for Nelson Rose Construction, and a former employee of Smith Sunoco in Crittenden. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing, as well as enjoyed racing cars in his younger years. On Aril 18, 1959, he was united in marriage to Mary Brooks Connelly.
In addition to Mary, his wife of 56 years, he is also survived by 3 daughters, Melinda (Troy) Evans of Dry Ridge, Regina (Gary) Smith of Crittenden, and Amelia Perry of Crittenden; 6 grandchildren; and 2 sisters Janet Durr of Crittenden, and Frances Roland of Florence.
Memorial visitation will be 6:00pm- 8:00pm, Friday, May 8, 2015 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden.
