Eugene Burch was born in Booneville, Kentucky on July 13, 1939 and passed away at his residence in Elsmere, Kentucky on April 24, 2015. He was the son of the late Harvey Tye and Ida Hensley Burch.
Mr. Burch leaves his wife of 54 years, Linda L. Isaacs Burch; his son: Jeremy Todd Burch of Burlington; his brothers: William Burch, Arnold Burch and Glenn Burch all of Crittenden; his sisters: Sylvia Curry of Florence, Gwendolyn Goetz of Edgewood, Joyce Vice of Independence and Lee Etta Ball of Walton and seven grandchildren. Two siblings preceded him in death: Dennis Burch and Gracie Burch.
Eugene had dreamed of selling cars from the time when he was a child and set up his toy cars as a car lot. His dream came true when he opened the G & L Auto Sales in Erlanger. His dream continues today as his son is continuing the tradition at the same location. Mr. Burch was also active in the Kentucky Jail Ministries and at his church, Community Family in Taylor Mill. He wasa former printer and a member of the Graphic Arts Union.
Funeral services for Mr. Burch will be 4:00 PM, Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 132 S. Main St., Crittenden, KY 41030. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2:00 - 4:00 PM Sunday. The burial will take place at the Roberts Cemetery in Island Creek, Kentucky near Booneville at Noon, Monday, April 27, 2015.
