Joyce Ann Covey Whitney

March 27, 1934 - June 24, 2012

Joyce Ann Covey Whitney, 79 of Florence passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012 at the Highland Spring of Ft. Thomas Nursing Home.

She was a homemaker; former waitress of Frisch''s and Dragon Inn; member of the Unity Baptist Church in Demossville; the daughter of the late Earl and Rowenna Curd Covey and widow of Robert Whitney.

Survivors include two sons, Robert "Bobby" Tomlin of Frankfort, Greg Tomlin of Verona; two daughters, Darlene Collett of Erlanger, Linda Greenwell of Crittenden; five sisters, Geneva Whaley of Cincinnati, OH, Brenda Roland of Florida, Belvia Tomlin of Highland Heights, Margaret Johnson of Erlanger, Elsie Boothe of Tallahassee, FL; a brother, Henry Covey of Independence; step sons, Warren Whitney of Stratford, VA, WayneWhitney of Sierra Vista,AZ; step daughter,Beth Whitney of Louisville;six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1-4pm, Thursday, June 28 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097 with funeral service and burial in Randolph, Vermont.
