Delbert B Hammond

November 29, 1931 - February 19, 2012

Delbert B. Hammond, 80, of Williamstown passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital-Grant County.

He was a son of the late Claude B. and Leona Littrell Hammond and worked at the Cincinnati Stockyards as a cattle sorter.

He is survived by his wife of sixty one years, Kathryn Baker Hammond; two sons, Greg Hammond of Dry Ridge, Timothy Hammond of Williamstown; one daughter, Deborah Cruey of Alexandria; one brother, Elmer David Hammond of Perry Park (Owen Co.); one sister, Jean Jones of Lawrenceburg; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A son, Michael David Hammond preceded his father in death in 1973.

Visitation will be Noon-2pm with funeral service at 2pm, Thursday, February 23 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Burial will follow in the Owenton IOOF Cemetery.
