Paul L Collins

March 28, 1927 - February 19, 2012

Paul L. Collins, 84, of Covington passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 at St. Elizabeth-Edgewood.



Born in Harrison County, he was a son of the late Hobart and Bertha Mae

Courtney Collins. He worked for Foley Construction Company, was a member and deacon of Ashland Avenue Baptist Church, Latonia, the Masonic Lodge #746 for over 50 years and served his country in the Army during WWII.



He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lula Fenton Collins of Covington; two sons, David (Kelly) Collins of Covington, Donnie Collins of Covington; four daughters, Paula (Duane) Gatewood of Dry Ridge, Judy Collins (Randy McNay) of Morningview, Barb (Les) Fox of Crittenden, Lisa (Michael) Geiger of Florence; a sister, Virginia Brown of Florence; ten grandchildren: AJ Gatewood, Andy Gatewood, Markie Dahms, Amanda Robinson, Kelsey Fox, Megan Dahms, Morgan Dahms, Collin Fox, Andrew Collins, Sarah Collins; six great grandchildren:Ty Gatewood, Gabby Gatewood, Jack Gatewood, Reese Gatewood, Danny Coyle, Lilly Combs; several nieces and nephews.



Visitation will be 4-8pm, Tuesday, Feb. 21 with funeral service, 10am,

Wednesday, at the Ashland Avenue Baptist Church, 2735 Ashland Ave.,

Covington, KY 41015. Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery.
