Theora Peebles Locke

July 9, 1920 - February 6, 2012

Theora Peebles Locke, 91, of Walton passed away Monday, February 6th at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late Clifford Bryan and Artie Irene Orcutt Peebles , a homemaker and member of the New Bethel Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School and VBS teacher and former member of the Pastor search committee. She was also a charter member of the Walton Woman''s Club and former member of the Crittenden Rook League.

Survivors include her husband of more than sixty one years, William D. Locke of Walton; a son, Douglas Rouse of Florence; a daughter, Beverly Rouse of Walton; a brother, David M. Peebles of Walton; a sister, Patricia Carnes of Ft. Wayne, IN and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11am to 2pm with funeral at 2pm, Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Rd., Verona, KY 41092. Burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery, Verona.
