Ruth Bowen

November 7, 1927 - August 7, 2011

Ruth Bowen, 83 of Williamstown, passed away Sunday, August 7th at St. Elizabeth-Grant County.

She was a waitress for many years at Mulberry''s Restaurant and at Mitt''s Restaurant both in Williamstown. She is preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Otha Iva Middleton Bowen and four brothers, Elmo, Theodore, Wendell and Roy, Jr. "Jug" Bowen.

She is survived by her partner, Alonzo "Al" Lawrence of Williamstown; one brother, Russell K. "Doc" Bowen of Crittenden; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be 5-8pm, Thursday, August 11th with funeral service 11am, Friday, August 12th at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Burial will be in the Gardnersville Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the church or charity of donor''s choice.
