Cosby Jones

Cosby Jones, 85 of Union, KY passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011 at St. Elizabeth-Edgewood, KY.

He was the son of the late Barrett and Lucy Woods Jones. Mr. Jones was a member of Saint Timothy Catholic Church, Union, KY; worked as a machine operator at General Electric, Evendale, OH; Union Stewart for UAW and served in the US Army, Navy and Air Force.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn White Jones; a son, Charles Armstrong; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Littrell; five brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include a son, John Paul Jones of Florence, KY; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11am-1pm with funeral at 1pm, Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-North, Williamstown, KY.
