Vernon Deaton

June 25, 1938 - April 3, 2011

Vernon Deaton, 72 of Walton died Sunday, April 3,2011 at his residence.

He was an electrician for the Chrysler Corporation in Syracuse, NY for over thirty years; served in the US Air Force for five years and was a member of the United Auto Workers.

He is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Joy McNay Deaton; four sons, David Deaton of St. Charles, MO, Kevin Deaton of Fulton, NY, Rick and Greg Tolbert both of Williamstown, KY; three daughters, Davida Deaton of Rock Hill, SC, Sherri Worthington of Hartselle AL, Holly Deaton of Southington, CT; five brothers, Gene Deaton of Corinth, KY; Loren , Douglas, and Dwayne Deaton of Confluence,KY, Willis Deaton of Bellevue, KY; four sisters, Thelma Johnson of Cincinnati, OH, Sheila Faye Hale of Lafollette, TN, Joyce Bales of Fayetteville, NC, Kathy Ritter of Villa Hills, KYand twenty grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4 pm-8 pm, Tuesday, April 5, 2011 with funeral service 11am, Wednesday, April 6, 2011both at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main Street, Williamstown, KY 41097. Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery, Williamstown, KY.
