Allene Elizabeth Caldwell

January 18, 1919 - January 29, 2011

Allene Elizabeth Caldwell was born January 18, 1919 in Pendleton Co., Kentucky and passed away on January 29, 2011 in Danville, Kentucky at the age of 92. She was the daughter of the late Charles Pickett and Anna Mae Gillespie Wilson.

Allene was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Vernor Caldwell in 1991 and her sister Teresa Sue Wilson in 1999. She is survived by one son: Glenn V. Caldwell of Williamstown, KY; one daughter: Linda Sue (Buddy) Hester of Danville, KY; 5 grandchildren: Troy Glenn (Wendi) Caldwell, Jeffrey Caldwell, Brent Caldwell, Cindy (Tim) Hester Blevins, and Trisha (Kelly) Hester Furbee; 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Allene was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KY. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. The burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery, Williamstown, KY.
