Carrie F Hubbard

August 15, 1908 - January 10, 2010

Mrs. Carrie F. Hubbard, a Williamstown resident,was born on August 15, 1908 to the late Daniel and Frances Rich Fortney.

Mrs. Hubbard was a graduate from Georgetown College and taught school for the Corinth Elementary School system. She retired in 1969. Mrs. Hubbard was a member of the Grant Co. Retired Teachers Association and the Crooked Creek Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hubbard was united in marriage to Sam Hubbard on March 17, 1933 and was married for more than 40 years. Mrs. Hubbard is preceded in death not only by her husband but also her son, Robert Wayne Hubbard.

Carrie is the last of a family of 7. She is survived by one daughter, Sue "Phoebe" Brown of Crittenden, KY, 5 grandsons, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010from 5-8 pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Pythian Grove Cemetery inBerry, KY.
