Betty Halberstadt

May 4, 1924 - October 28, 2009

Betty Jane Strotman Halberstadt, of Corinth, KY, was born in Covington, Kentucky on May 4, 1924 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, Kentucky on October 28, 2009 at the age of 85. She was the daughter of the late William Raymond and Lena Ruby SchoolerStrotman.

On August 11, 1943, Betty was united in marriage with Gilbert Lawrence Halberstadt. In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by one son: Gary L. Halberstadt of Independence, KY; one daughter: Linda D. Cleek of Independence, KY; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. One grandson, Michael Gilbert Cleek preceded her in death.

Mrs. Halberstadt was a graduate of Covington Holmes High School and a member of the Williamstown Baptist Church. She was a security worker with Value City in Latonia, KY.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, October 30, 2009 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Burial will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, KY.
